I always feel guilty that I did not study in an English Medium School. As a result, I cannot speak English as fluently as children who attend public schools. I read an English newspaper daily, note down new words, and then try to speak, but I want to know the most effective method to speak fluently.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Improving English Fluency
Try to speak your mother tongue less or stop it for 6 months and tell yourself you will only speak English during that period. You can sign up for a professional English course, or you can also find a free one online at alison.com. Lastly, don't give up on reading and studying. Continue reading English literature and watching English programs. It will take some time, but it will be worth it. The older you are, the longer it will take.

Practice conversations with a friend who will point out mistakes or join a training course with plenty of conversation practice and personalized feedback.

The Importance of Learning English
Why hype English? It's just another language. Although it does have some significance, it does not determine your quality of work and overall personality. Learn it (various modes are available) as a secondary language to your mother tongue. Keep a pocket dictionary to know the meaning and use it in your sentences. You will learn it eventually.
I personally feel you need to have a liking for the language rather than an obligation to learn it. Ok, cheers! We all have gone through this stage. English medium or no English medium - it's just a language.

You are somehow right—it's just a language. However, the current scenario in the corporate market seems to prioritize English speaking and writing. Today, most professionals talk, deal, market their products, or communicate in English. A lack of English speaking and writing skills poses a challenge in securing new jobs and raises questions about survival in existing positions.
Hence, learning English becomes necessary for survival in the corporate world.

True, English is just another language, but the current job environment places a lot of emphasis on English. A job seeker can either try to convince recruiters that not knowing English doesn't compromise their abilities, or they can learn English skills and compete for the job. My two bits

One thing you can do to gain a good command of English is to take the daily English newspaper and a dictionary. Stand in front of the mirror, read aloud, and at a slow pace go through the contents. Try to understand each word and sentence. If you find any word difficult, refer to the dictionary immediately.
This practice can help you register the words in your mind so that when you speak in English, the appropriate words will come to mind automatically, allowing you to converse fluently. You may not see results in a day or two, but at least within a month, you should feel the difference.
I suggest this because I have tried it, and it has significantly helped me improve my communication skills.
