Hi,

I am working in Qatar and received an offer from Abu Dhabi. I have received a work visa valid for 60 days from the employer in Abu Dhabi. My problem is I cannot cancel my residence visa (work visa) from Qatar. However, my company is willing to give an exit permit without canceling the RP as there are no legal problems against me, and it's only a technical issue (which cannot be rectified on short notice). Now, with this valid visa (valid for another year), can I come to Abu Dhabi and get a residence visa there?

Thank you.

As far as my knowledge goes, you cannot attain two country visas at a time in the Middle East. What I suggest is to visit Abu Dhabi, meet your employer, and see whether this working condition suits you or not. I hope your Qatari employer will give you an NOC.

Hi,

Greetings!

Legally, you cannot hold two visas at a time, but you can join the new company in Abu Dhabi after exiting Qatar. Automatically, the existing visa in Qatar will be canceled after 6 months.

Here, your problem is solved.

To get RP in Abudabi , you need to cancel Qatar RP. You can enter other GCC county with business /tourist visa. Qatar RP will be cancelled if you don’t enter within six months and hereafter you are eligible to get Abudabi RP . There is nothing to do with NOC from your employer.
