I would like to know how an effective Buddy system can be implemented in an organization. Any suggestions are welcome; this is required for my summer project. I am required to propose an effective system which will make the new joinees comfortable with the organization.

It is better to search CiteHR, in particular, and the web before posting a query. For example, there is an article by V S Rama Rao at An effective buddy system found at Google.

Hi Simhan,

I've already read that and a few more articles. The link mentioned above gives very limited information on the topic. Since I am doing a project on it, I would require more detailed information - like how a buddy is assigned and what the responsibility of the buddy is after the person joins the organization, etc.

This post is basically for more inputs/ideas that I could use for my project apart from the ideas I have already thought of.
