I have been working with a manufacturing concern for the past 3 years, so I thought of sharing some information that may be of use to you. Usually, in these concerns, HR duties are very complex when compared to other industries. As it deals with lots of manpower running the machinery, we need to take care of every petty incident or task. For payroll, we need to maintain a track record of their overtime timings, date of joining, work areas, etc., as they need to be paid based on the risk level of their job and in accordance with the Factories Act.
