Provident Fund Dilemma: How to Handle Employees Opting Out and Protect Employers? - CiteHR

Dear all visitors, there are 5 to 6 employees in my company who are not willing to contribute to the Provident Fund. Is there any form to be filled by the employees who are not interested in the Provident Fund for the safeguard of the employer?

EPF Enrollment Requirements

Those who draw a salary of Rs. 6500 or below have to join the EPF statutorily. Those who have a salary of more than Rs. 6500 and are already registered with PF have to continue until the end of service. In the above two cases, the employer has no role in exempting them from PF. Those who draw more than Rs. 6500 as a salary and are not registered in PF have no statutory obligation to join PF. In all the above three cases, there is no need for the employer to get consent from the employee.
