Respected Seniors,

I am a management faculty and I teach the topics in HRM, OB, and MF. I am joining Ph.D. this year and am interested in doing my research in the area of Transactional Analysis. However, I know very little about the concept and am not able to decide on the research topic under TA.

So, please help me in choosing a particular field of research in TA and assist me by sending available materials, PhD projects, and synopses, if possible.

Thanks & Regards,

Sibananda S.M. Tripathy

Dear Sibanand,

Please access Google and also other sites to read about the concept. I also suggest that you search the web and read all about TA and HRM. I recall studying this as far back as 1985 in the Personnel Management module. Also, kindly provide an English version of the Bhagavadgita stanza that you use in your signature.

Have a nice day.

Hi Sibananda,

I think the first step for you should be to attend a basic TA workshop called TA 101. There are additional workshops for life-scripts, games, and work skills. I hope you have read books like "I'm Ok - You're Ok," "Becoming OK," and "Games People Play" to gain more understanding of the concepts.

I don't know your base city; otherwise, I would have suggested something. You can get in touch with any of the TA members in India: TA Practitioners - India (Search On Cite | Search On Google).

Hi Sibananda,

I am also interested in conducting research on Transactional Analysis, and I have collected some materials on it. Some of them have been really useful in clarifying the concept and understanding the research area of transactional analysis.

It seems like we both will be working in the same area. Would you please provide me with your personal email ID so that we can share our resources with each other, if you don't mind?

Regards,
Paras
