Thank you very much for this thoughtful post. MFH's passing is a significant loss to the Art World. May his soul rest in peace. Did you know that he was a scholar in Geta studies despite being born a Muslim? Some may even refer to him as the Van Gogh of India.

Dear All,
For someone who paints Mother India in the nude, this tribute smacks of a gross lack of patriotism. No sane man would paint his mother in the nude. At least in India, we have that reverence towards the Mother (who is considered next to God).
By merely knowing the Bhagavad Gita, one does not become a scholar. The Bhagavad Gita is meant to be followed and not meant for reading and mere superficial discussions.
