Raj,
Please find below the Sick Leave policy formulated as per your request:
1. The company does not expect its employees to apply for sick leave when they are actually engaged in personal or domestic tasks.
2. Employees are allowed to take a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 3 days of sick leave without the need for a medical certificate.
3. Employees can take more than 3 days of sick leave by providing a medical certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner. If the sick leave exceeds 6 days, the employee must obtain a fitness certificate from the company's authorized medical officer.
4. Sick leave cannot be taken as a suffix or prefix to any other leave, except in the case of an employee suffering from a prolonged illness who has utilized their sick leave quota.
5. Weekly offs or holidays that coincide with sick leave will be considered as part of the sick leave period.
