If the problem is written English, get hold of a good high school grammar book (Raymond Murphy - "Elementary and Intermediate") and complete it from the first page to the last. A lot of times, we collect books and materials but only read a few pages, seldom completing them.
If the problem is spoken English, find someone to practice spoken English with every day and ask him/her to help you with your mistakes. Finding such a person may be difficult, but it would be extremely useful.
Also, check out spoken practice-based English speaking programs like the one offered by BodhiSutra.com.

Hi,
English, like any other language, including your mother tongue, can only be learned when you put it into practice. The first thing is that you shouldn't get misguided by English training institutes. There are rarely any good ones.
I am starting a new section on my website www.howtocrackaninterview.com, which is meant only for people like you and you don't have to pay a dime. It's called "HINDI TO ENGLISH."
My entire website is a video website, so it consumes less time. It is absolutely free. No need to even submit your email ID. You can do it at home.
All you will have to do is follow the video tutorials as advised on the website. The program will start on 15th April, but meanwhile, you can just visit it and get an idea of the website.
Good Luck,
Vaibhav
