Hi All,

I recently joined the HR world and am currently working as an HR Assistant (Internship) at CARE Zambia. I have little experience in the HR world and would like to be very effective and contribute during meetings.

Best Regards,

Take the agenda of the meeting and do the homework, search for the information, do case studies, talk to your boss, and discuss the possibilities, etc. Be loyal, dedicated, and hardworking. Proper communication is very important; be very communicative with your boss. Always think of yourself as a manager, take the responsibilities, and complete the tasks (if possible). Be greedy for knowledge, experience, and responsibilities. Do not hop jobs for money, but of course for good opportunities and good breaks, with stable time at one particular place. I don't know whether this suggestion is in line with your post, but I mentioned it in general as you are in the starting stage of your career. Make your foundation strong.

Thank you very much for your advice. I am very happy in the HR world. I didn't know it was so involving. I am working on the turnover analysis, and it is actually involving and challenging. I am learning something new every day.
