There is a ton of stuff here already on CiteHR about HR Manuals. This question is asked over and over and over again, several times every week!!!! Why is it that people seem totally incapable of doing a simple search?? Use the RESEARCH BOX at the top of every page, and you will find a wealth of material to answer most of your HR questions on almost any subject. Search FIRST, Ask SECOND.

Dear All,
Can the company increase the existing notice period policy from one month to three months, as we received an email stating that the extension of the notice period from one month to three months is irrespective of the appointment letter. Please suggest solutions for the following questions:
1. Is it applicable to existing employees working for the past two or three years in the company?
2. Is the revised policy valid according to any act? If yes, kindly name the act.
3. If we receive a better opportunity, what should we do if the new company does not wait for us to complete the three-month notice period? In such cases, we may lose our better life/career.
