Hi,

I am PeeYUSH JAIN. I was an employee of ABBOTT INDIA LTD from August 2006 to April 2008, and my PF account was with the Bombay corporate office. I resigned from the job in April 2008 and have not yet collected the PF amount. I have the appointment letters and most of the payslips with the PF number mentioned.

Now, I want to know how to retrieve my PF money from the PF office. I am seeking information on the procedure to claim my PF funds without having the company letter. Please assist.

Thanks,
PeeYUSH JAIN

Dear Peeyush,

I suggest visiting EPFO on Google to download PF withdrawal forms. There are approximately three forms that you need to download and fill out.

The next step involves signing those forms, providing your PF number, and your bank account number where you need your money to be transferred.

After filling out the forms, send them to the office where you were previously employed. Please note that your PF formalities will commence two months after leaving your job, as per the official rule. Additionally, there is a requirement for your company letterhead for whatever reason.

Hi Peeyush,

You can obtain your PF without the interference of your last employer. The procedure is outlined below:

Fill out the PF withdrawal form (Form-19). The filled form must be certified or attached by any Gazetted officer, such as:
- Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
- Branch Manager of any government bank
- Member of Parliament (MP) / Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA)
- Any Gazetted officer in the government sector

Send the filled and certified form to the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner (RPFC) with whom your fund is deposited.
