What are the best options to reduce attrition in an organization?
Do you think starting a "child care" and work-life balance programs can reduce attrition to some extent for present and future parents?
Thanks,
Amit.

Dear Amit,
Reducing attrition is not difficult, but what is difficult is changing what hiring managers do prior to the job offer. Hiring for talent is the single best thing a hiring manager can do to reduce attrition.

Hi Amit,
The married females have to discontinue their job after they have kids, so I feel that having a daycare can surely reduce attrition to some extent. However, I agree with Mahesh also.
My experience says attrition in companies happens due to various reasons, so we should try and develop our strategies to curb attrition only after finding the reasons, which can be done through exit interviews, stay-in interviews, Proper PMS, and employee surveys. Take them all seriously and then brainstorm, work out new ideas to fight attrition; you will surely get success.
All the best,
