Dear Basha,

For a trainee, I would recommend understanding all the processes and procedures of the organization. This will help you realize your own area of interest. After identifying your area of interest, you can ask your mentor to place you there so that you could pursue that.

Also, I would recommend that you try to learn things as if you are a student there and try to get along with the team so that you feel a sense of belonging. If the team feels the same about you, your chances of getting absorbed there increase.

Happy Learning and have a great career ahead!!

Supriya

Sorry for the delay. Thank you for your valuable reply. I got that, and now somehow I am clear that I have to learn all the things first and then have to choose in which area I am interested. Kindly help me to be updated about the current issues and practices in HR. Thanks, Basha

Hi, dear friends.

This is Basha, and presently, I am working in a manufacturing facility as an HR Trainee for the past year. If I want to transition to an IT Company, their way of doing things is different from that of manufacturing. I would like to know what adjustments need to be made to join an IT company.

For example, the way of recruiting in manufacturing is entirely different from that in an IT company. What are the different areas between manufacturing and IT, and how can I cope with this kind of transformation? I am new to this field and eager to develop myself for the IT sector.

Kindly assist me in understanding the differences and how to adapt to the IT environment.
