Hi guys, I am an HR executive in an IT company. I have completed only my diploma but have 3 years of experience in HR and BDM fields. Currently, I am pursuing my second year of BBA through distance learning. My question is, after completing my BBA, should I go for a regular MBA or a part-time MBA? Alternatively, some institutions offer PGPBS (Post Graduate Program in Business Skills) for candidates with a 10+2+3 (diploma) qualification. Can you suggest which option would be better and more valuable for my future? If you have any ideas, please advise as it would be very useful in my life.

Hi there,

I am Raja, I completed my MBA in 2009. I have 2 years of experience, but I am interested in an HR generalist job. Currently, I lack expertise in many areas of HR generalists. Therefore, I am seeking practical training that will help advance my career in this field. I am specifically looking for training opportunities in Chennai only. If anyone could recommend the best training center for HR generalist profiles, I would greatly appreciate it.

Yours sincerely,
RAJA .K

Dear Anu,

After MBA, you can also opt for a research fellowship or go for a lectureship. For this, you have to clear an exam conducted by UGC, i.e., the National Eligibility Test conducted every year in the months of June and December. If you need any further information on this, you can contact me as I am preparing for this exam.

Bye for now,
