Rural development is important for our country as the majority of our population lives in the villages. Due to pressure on land and shrinking livelihoods in the villages, migration from rural areas to cities has assumed alarming proportions. Until and unless we provide basic urban facilities in the rural areas, we will not be able to stop this migration. To create jobs in the rural areas, we need to improve the infrastructure and carry out rural development programs to upgrade the skills of people and create more livelihood opportunities for them.

Hello Thirupathi,
India is a big village; over 70% of the area is rural. India's development does not depend solely on the IT sector; it also exists in rural India.
- Which program are you referring to? You did not provide any details.
- After completing my MBA, I pursued a PG Diploma in Rural Development. My goal is to become an entrepreneur and create job opportunities for at least 100 people in my village.
I would appreciate it if you could provide more information to justify your queries.
