Dear Raghu,
Thanks for the posting and active participation in the forum.
The emergency escape plan that you posted, is it a final version or a draft? Or is it a write-up about the subject just for reference? Are there a few more pages left to include?
My comments on the same:
1. Lacking an Index Page.
2. Fails to meet the purpose of an Emergency Escape Plan. Even after going through the entire write-up, it fails to explain what an employee should do in case of an emergency, where to go, and where the assembly point is.
3. Why should we make it more complicated? Such an emergency plan should be clearly understandable to common workers. Can we use a flow chart that clearly mentions the actions one should take in case of an emergency?
4. Whom to contact in case of an emergency and what are all the contact numbers, etc.
Hope you will find more reasons to make necessary modifications to your Emergency Escape Plan to make it a perfect document.

Hi Raghu,
Good job! Keep it up. We can also prepare an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) through the OSHA site. I have also prepared one through it. Please visit the link below:

Thanks once again, Raghu, for starting this thread.

Dear all,
It's only for your reference.
Dilip,
You are right in that attachment for your reference only, sir. You can attach emergency numbers, the nearest hospital route map, ERT members' details, and assembly point route map.

Dear All,
Thank you so much for sharing your valuable views and, of course, such a nice emergency preparedness plan by Mr. Raghu. Friends, I believe that this plan serves as mere guidelines or blueprints. One has to tailor it to suit his/her specific requirements.
Furthermore, one of our friends asked to be specific about the manufacturing industry. I work in the automobile manufacturing industry.
Any additional valuable input would be highly appreciated.
Thanks & regards,

Dear Harish,
Thank you for your valuable feedback. I believe it was my first paperwork when starting an individual project overseas. Whenever I see my 2009/2010 posts/threads on our forum, it brings back memories of my early days in EHS.
