Dear Karthick,
Your company has provided you with a service certificate with remarks that have a negative connotation. But then what exactly happened? Why do they say that your exit was unprofessional? Did you not serve the complete notice period? Was there a fight with anyone at the fag-end of your tenure? Were you involved in any misconduct?
Did you approach the company for the issue of the unblemished service certificate? What do they say? Please provide us with the complete details. Comments can be given thereafter.
Thanks,

I didn't serve the complete notice period. I worked for 15 days and paid for the remaining. Actually, the company had given me a transfer to another office. I didn't like going there, so I resigned and worked until the transfer date in the old office. I informed HR that I would pay the remaining dues. I paid the dues, but the company treated my exit unprofessionally. Please suggest how to convince the new HR.

Dear Karthick-SK1,
Just for not serving the complete notice, the issue of the service certificate with negative remarks is unheard of. Possibly, there could be more than meets the eye.
Anyway, at this stage, I recommend you submit the application for the fresh issue of the service certificate without any remarks. Address it to the MD of the company. In the application, you may write about the constraints in working at the new location and your willingness to make a payment in lieu of the unserved notice period. Let us see what he says. If required, you may ask for an interview with him and beseech him. Let us see what he says.
By the way, what is your designation, and how many subordinates did you have?
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
