If there is a difference in the name, date of birth in UAN, Aadhaar, SSLC, or birth certificate of an employee, how to correct the name in PF? Should he first correct Aadhaar based on the birth certificate and then PF based on Aadhaar, or can he correct the name in PF as per Aadhaar, ignoring the birth certificate?

Ideal condition is if your SSLC name and DOB are the same on PAN, Aadhar, UAN, and Bank. There is a problem with PAN as the authority is not accepting initials only, instead of the full name. To resolve the issue, first change your Aadhar based on PAN and then change UAN based on Aadhar.

Dear, as per SSLC or birth certificate, he must update his Aadhar. Another option is available if he doesn't have a birth certificate or SSLC marks card: we can refer to his ESI card with a joint declaration form to the PF office.

EPF has base KYC as Aadhaar, so Aadhaar must be amended as per the school document and then apply for correction. Change in date of birth beyond one year is not possible unless a joint declaration is given with DOB proof. A joint declaration can be sent through the employer with the correct documents for KYC in UAN.
