I worked in previous company for 4 years 7 months 27 days, but company issued service period for 5 years 13 days in final settlement. Do i have an eligible for gratuity amount?

I don't know how there could be a discrepancy between the poster's calculation of the service rendered and that of the employer's. Whether there is any mention of gratuity in the F&F statement as the employer's calculation is on the higher side so as to create entitlement for gratuity? If not, the data furnished by the employer might be due to a clerical error. It is for the poster to decide according to his conscience.
