Hi,
I am working in a manpower consultancy, and we are assigning people on an hourly basis. We are also paying them on an hourly basis. We deduct the PF and contribute to said employees.
Currently, employees are requesting monthly leave. Is there a provision for this? Your support is appreciated.

Hi there,
Of course, for all practical purposes, they are to be treated on par with the regular monthly salaried employees. All the leaves are made applicable irrespective of the type of employment.
Thanks and Regards

Hourly payment basis payout is not employment but taking professional services. Check the employment rules of your respective labor department. Though the principal has paid on an hourly basis, the contractor has to pay them on a daily or monthly basis, deducting the absence and non-contributory periods. Daily and monthly basis employees are eligible for all benefits on par with other regular workers.
