Hello All, I need to prepare offer letter of a new joinee. Please let me know, where should I mention joining bonus in salary structure. Will it be a fixed or variable component? Thanks, Ankita

If the joining bonus is single time time paid component, don't mention it in the Salary Structure. You can mention the Joining Bonus amount in the Appointment Letter. But mention a specific period (1-2 month) in the letter and pay the amount after that period.
Salary Structure is being used only for the component being paid on monthly routine basis.
