Dear Seniors,
Hope you are doing well!
In order to process the E-Waste and Hazardous license at our general engineering (Trichy) industry, we require further assistance on the same. I hereby expect a specific response to perform the same.
Thanks in anticipation.

Dear Pon,
Thank you for your comment on this forum. I would like to know the process from the HR end because I have clearly mentioned that we are an engineering company and we fall under category C/D only for releasing waste. Therefore, well-known seniors could help in this regard instead of suggesting we contact the PCB.
Thank you.

Dear JP,
I have 32 years of end-to-end experience in HR, Admin, and Statutory Compliances. You cannot escape registration with TNPCB for which you have to file Form I and obtain consent in FII. Afterward, look for an agent who is engaged in taking the E-waste from you at the negotiated rate. There is no shortcut. Please follow this method for all practical purposes.

Dear Mr. Murali,
First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to reply to my query. I believe I failed to clarify that we have already obtained consent orders from the PCB for Water and Air. Additionally, the PCB has required us to proceed with obtaining E-Waste and Hazardous Waste licenses.
My expectation is to understand the steps and procedures necessary to obtain these licenses from the PCB. Our intention is not to avoid compliance with the PCB or to take shortcuts, as you have mentioned. It appears there may have been a misunderstanding of my query on your part.
I would like to reiterate that my request includes:
i) the forms and procedures for obtaining an E-Waste license
ii) the forms and procedures for obtaining a Hazardous Waste license.
I trust that you can now easily respond to my request.
Thank you.

Dear JP,
I have mentioned that Form I needs to be filed by you to obtain an e-Waste license from PCB. Additionally, you need to display the form at the entrance of the factory premises. You can obtain the form from the office or create it from the book itself.

Hi JP.
E-waste and hazardous waste management are two different rules now.
1. Obtain hazardous authorization from the SPCB for all the hazardous waste that is being generated from your operations - refer to schedules of the rules. Once you are authorized, you can manage the hazardous waste as per the rule.
2. E-waste: If you are not an electronic manufacturing industry, then your organization falls under consumer or bulk consumer - requirements include disposing of the e-waste to authorized recyclers and maintaining records in form 2.
Please refer to the application for HWA: http://www.tnpcb.gov.in/application_form.html
List of e-waste recyclers: http://tnpcb.gov.in <link updated to site home>
Note: The above is a generic process and requirements; however, if the SPCB suggests any specific process, you may follow the same.
Hope this was useful.
