Hi All,

This is the holiday pattern we follow in our company:
- 11 mandatory "General" holidays
- 2 optional holidays from a list of 12 festival/national/religious holidays published. This will allow staff to avail any days as optional holidays irrespective of religious barriers.

Holiday List 2014 is attached for your reference.

Dear Sir,

This is a food retail sector. Here, we do not get national holidays, neither double wages nor compensatory leave. Kindly suggest rules for both employees earning less or more than 15000. We take employees under the Shop and Establishment Act and other high-paid employees sign an appointment letter. Shall we receive both double wages and extra leave for national holidays?
