Dear Seniors,
In my company, we have filled PF returns manually for the month of March 2012 and paid the PF amount through a manual challan in SBI. However, from April 2012 onwards, we have been using ECR for filing. I have downloaded the PF passbook from the ECR site. I noticed that the amounts for March 2012 and April 2012 are missing in the passbook, while the PF amounts from May 2012 onwards are correctly displayed in all employees' passbook statements.
Please advise me on how to rectify the errors for both March and April 2012. I have also attached a scanned copy of one employee's passbook for your reference.
Thanks and Regards,

Dear Ranjan,
This is the same problem faced by 4000 companies that submitted their Mar-2012 PF challan manually because EPFO started online submission of PF contributions in Mar-2012. EPFO now states that they have not received details from banks that manually deposited challans in Mar-2012. Therefore, we have to wait. I have personally met many senior officers at SRO Noida regarding this issue, and they have informed me that letters have been sent to the center. We need to wait until we receive a reply from the center PF commissioner. Many companies are experiencing the same problems and visiting SRO Noida, but the issue persists. Patience is required.
