Dont worry about 7 A enquiry, just be prepared with your annual reconciliation statement if you have paid the amount properly then no problem if not then you have to face the problem. Arun J.

Need to know on which particular issue you were summoned for the 7-A enquiry. This enquiry typically takes place at the Assistant Commissioner's office. It is usually attended by the PF Enforcement officer, the Employer representative, and the Assistant Commissioner of PF. The PF commissioner acts as the enquiry officer with the powers of Civil Courts to summon and compel witnesses to attend the enquiry. Generally, Affidavits are provided as evidence/statements, followed by counter-affidavits and objections later on. After sufficient hearings, the enquiry report will be issued.
