The plan should contain a key plan, site plan in 1:400 scale, and a detailed plan in 1:100 scale to show all details of the site plan. This includes plan elevation section views to display the height details and other important particulars.

Dear Mr. Raju,
I have gone through the query you have posted on the forum regarding obtaining a factory license under the provisions of Section 6 of the Factories Act, 1948. An occupier is required to have its factory building plans approved by the Chief Inspector of Factories of the State where the factory is located, in accordance with the provisions specified in the State Factory Rules before commencing occupation of the building.
Regarding the points to consider, the plan should include a Site Plan to a scale of 1:100, a layout plan to a scale of 1:10, cross-sections of the buildings, sectional elevations, front elevations, and general information about the industry, manufacturing process, layout of machinery to be installed in the plant, safety provisions such as exit doors, emergency exits, fire hydrant systems, fire extinguisher locations, and the number of workers to be deployed.
If you have any specific queries, please feel free to email me directly at rby@ykassociates.com.

Hi,
Apart from what Mr. Yadav mentioned above, the following points need to be taken care of while reviewing the plan:
- Number of machinery: Horsepower details
- Any additional constructions to be included and deletions to be excluded. If so, highlight them in color.
- TOPO Plan
