Hello Sir/Madam,
I am pursuing an MBA in HR from a government university in Kolkata. I will be finishing my MBA in January 2013. I have started posting my CV on job portals and have also sent CVs directly to company HR emails. However, to my surprise, not a single company or consultancy has called me in the last 2-3 months. Can anyone please give me an idea of what "may" be the reason behind this? In my CV, I have mentioned that I am pursuing MBA 4th semester and will be finishing in January 2013. Also, my CV has been prepared very well.

Hi Vicky,
Well there is no need to worry about anything though your concern is right and obvious.
See, as you still have to complete your MBA and exams are yet to come, you first need to concentrate on your study and upcoming exams. We would never want you to lost your concentration due to this reason and negative impact on your study. You are not getting calls from recruiters or your CV not being consider doesn’t mean, it wont be consider or you wont get any chance. Why recruiters are not showing interest in your profile is that because of market situation and demand of experience these time and you yet to clear your MBA.
Second, you need to redesign your CV with complete details of your education and achievements/ assignments/ projects that will certainly work for you and also you need to keep posting your CV /apply for fresher/trainee jobs.
Best of Luck
