Hi,

I have already requested to close my PF account. Still now, I'm not getting any updates regarding that.

So, I checked the status online. But, I was shocked when I received this message:

Claim ID: TNXXXXXXX

Status: Claim Form 19 for PF Settlement AGAINST Member Account No (TNXXXX) has been rejected. The rejection letter is under dispatch/dispatched to the address in your claim form.

Claim ID: TNXXXX

Status: Claim Form 10C for Withdrawal Benefit AGAINST Member Account No (TNXXXX) has been rejected. The rejection letter is under dispatch/dispatched to the address in your claim.

* * Approval Details on PPO and Scheme Certificates will be made available soon.. * *

This is the second time my request has been rejected. Can anyone guess why they are rejecting my request again? I asked them, but they didn't provide proper information.

1. Is this a problem with the company (Employer)?

2. Or is there any other account information on my side?

Please suggest.

Also, I checked my PF balance and found:

EPF Balance in A/c No. is EE Amt: Rs 21018, ER Amt: Rs 13132 as of 8-3-2012 (Accounts updated up to 31-03-2011) - EPFO

I resigned from my job in April 2012. Can you please tell me what my total PF amount is?

There are various reasons that can lead to the rejection of your claim. You should either wait for the rejection letter or visit the PF branch office; they will guide you correctly.

Additionally, your total Provident Fund amount is $34,150.00.
