I've applied for my PF in the month of April. According to the PF claim status, it is settled, and the amount was sent through a cheque on the 28th of July. However, the cheque has not yet been received by my bank.
Can you please tell me how much time it takes for PF clearance in a scenario where the cheque has already been sent?

Dear,
I would advise you to first wait for this month. If you still don't receive the amount transferred to your account, it may indicate a mismatch in the basic details between your Bank account and your PF account. In that case, you will receive a letter from the PF Office regarding the cancellation of the cheque, highlighting the issue.
If your bank does not receive the cheque, you can visit the branch of SBI where your company submits the monthly PF challan. Inquire about your cheque there, and by presenting your ID proof, you can collect the cheque directly from that branch.
If you are unable to obtain your cheque at SBI, you can go directly to the PF office with your ID proof to collect your cheque.

Hi User,
First of all, please remember if you have provided the IFSC Code of the Bank Branch on the photocopy of the passbook along with your phone number on the claim form. The PF offices now process the refund of members' balances for withdrawal through NEFT within 15 days to 1 month from the date of receiving. This is why they require the IFSC code. If the claimant fails to provide it, the amount will be sent via ECS through the bank, which can take 2 months or more.
You can check the status of your PF claim on the website www.epfindia.com by visiting the link "Know Your Claim Status." Enter your region, select the office from the state, provide the company code, and enter your PF number. EPF will then display your current claim status.
