I have joined a company in Lucknow which is into road projects. We have an employee strength of 5, which may extend to 10. Now the company wants to have PF coverage for less than 20 employees. Please let me know the procedure.

Regarding your query on the above subject, you can register your organization voluntarily and also cover your employees under the EPF Act-1952 Rules if the strength is less than 20.

You can have your company registered under section 1(4) of the EPF Act. You need to apply for the coverage of your establishment in the specified format with consent from the employer. The employees will also need to give their consent.
Apart from these documents, all the other required documents for the coverage are to be filed with the RPFC office.
