Mr. Arun,

Do you have HR in your MNC? If yes, ask them about the increment policy. There is no difference between an MNC and an Indian company in giving increments. If they want to motivate you, they will give a higher increment; if not, less than that.

Please go to your HR department and ask for your appraisal form. If they do not have one, then inquire about the increment policy of the company. Since many HR professionals are open-minded, I hope they will respond to you in a responsible manner.

I'm new to Cite HR and would like to know if an appraisal can be done for workmen (skilled, unskilled, semiskilled) in a manufacturing industry, or if it is only limited to corporate staff levels. If yes, is there any sample appraisal available for the workmen category? Please advise.

Increment mostly depends on the profit / earning percentage of the company, if the company is generating high revenues it will increment yours salary per year on a constant basis.
