Hi Friends, I am new to this forum and wanted to know how we can control NCNS (no call, no show) cases in the BPO industry. Can any expert help me with the following questions?

Questionnaire:

1. Why do employees leave without informing?
2. What is the most frustrating thing you feel about employees who abscond?
3. What should be done if an employee takes company property without informing before leaving?
4. Can you suggest some solutions for dealing with absconding employees?
5. On average, how much does it cost monetarily when an employee absconds?

Questionnaire:

1. Why do employees leave uninformed?
Reason is it depends on age as well, especially in a BPO setting with a crowd aged 19-30. They may not be very focused on their career. One way to address this is to have 1-on-1 sessions with employees, conduct skip-level meetings with the Process Owner, or have a coffee session with the Manager to understand the expectations of the employees.

2. What is the most frustrating thing you feel about absconding employees?
Are you feeling frustrated? In any BPO, cases of absconding are often the highest contributors to attrition.

3. What can be done if an employee takes company property when leaving without notice?
Firstly, define the company property such as ID cards, headsets, mice, or any other items. Apart from these items, you can request the employee to return to the office to discuss or send a documented letter.

4. Can you suggest some solutions for dealing with absconding employees?
Engage employees through activities, games, one-on-one sessions, Internal Job Postings (IJP's), contests, etc.

5. On average, how much does it cost monetarily when an employee absconds?
No one will provide you with exact figures, but the average attrition rate is typically around 6-9%.

Feel free to contact me for any further queries.
