The Tamil Nadu government has not yet notified any minimum wages for textile industrial workers. The industry has been included in the schedule, and the minimum wages will be published in the TN Gazette. However, minimum wages for apprentices in the textile industry were notified in November 2008.

Can national floor-level wages be called as applicable wages for Tamil Nadu spinning industry's regular workers since minimum wages are fixed only for apprentice categories? However, the minimum wages fixed for the apprentices are higher than the national floor-level minimum wages. Kindly clarify.
