Maybe write down on a piece of paper what you think your top 5 achievements have been in your 2+ years of experience and why you believe this experience will help you as an HR Generalist. It is more important to be sure of what you are saying. If you are confident, energetic, and willing to learn, many things are actually overlooked.

@ Ms. George, as an employer, I would look for how well-suited you are to the job. Therefore, I would not want someone with an attitude that does not align with the position I am looking to fill. If I perceive someone as not caring about the job, I will overlook that person regardless of their experience.
It would be better if you keep in mind these points:
1) Be yourself from the beginning, be confident as a person. The initial nervousness is usually overlooked by most hiring panels. If you prepare an introductory strategy, it will help you get through the nervous period.
2) Identify how you can benefit the company and list out your strong points that highlight your knowledge in the field.
3) Unless asked to elaborate, your answers should be concise, confident, and communicate the message clearly with no room for misunderstandings.
4) Give full attention even if it seems like the panel is rambling; you never know if it is a test.
5) The most important point is to relax. Ensure you are groomed, presentable in your dressing, and use just enough deodorant to be pleasant.

I know it would have been superb and still wanted to know your experience because even I am facing somewhat the same in my life. I have 3+ years of experience, but it does not satisfy me in my current job. I had my first interview last week, after 3 years of not attending one. Don't get demoralized over one interview - keep trying until you succeed. Don't ever give up. Try a hundred times; your chances will go up. Every failure should make you better. Take it as a challenge to keep improving yourself with every interview.

Hello, friend. Face the interview naturally. Your attitude, approach to problems, and how you handle them are important. Just one piece of advice - when you are in a job, try to be hungry - grab everything you come across, whether it is related to your subject or not. Observe, learn things, as it will give you confidence. In my days, I knew more about production than the production people, not technically, but on the practical side of things. So, ask yourselves why? How? When? What? But not who? Be careful about this. Good luck.
