Corruption is the biggest problem in India, whether it be in the industrial sector or any other sector. Without corruption, nothing is possible. We, as common people, need to take strong steps to curb this evil. By knowing our rights, spreading awareness, etc., we can tackle this issue effectively. It is the root cause of every evil.

Lack of knowledge and awareness about various industrial departments will make the people surrender to the concerned department officials, which leads to corruption. To fight corruption and improve awareness about the duties and rights within each department, the Right to Information Act can be a useful tool. It is also beneficial to maintain liaison with various departments and give the impression that we are sincere in fulfilling the statutory obligations.

You should have an analysis and audit department to control these kinds of corruption and leakage.

Dear Rajesh,
This is a good one. I think that there are a few more reasons:
1. People leave if job satisfaction is not there.
2. People do not like interference from others in their work.
3. Authority and limitations are not well-defined.
4. If the employer sees the employee as a servant, then the employee may not work well within a team, etc.
Hope that you will agree with these points.

The ways to stop corruption are:
1. The officer who visits any organization, units, company, or individual should inform the higher authority in advance; this will help for cross-checking.
2. The kinds of information he will approach from the visited company should be well-defined and well-informed in advance or in a specific format by the Authority.
3. Only the 1st visit and queries raised by the officer are recommended. The 2nd visit should be allowed after sorting out the queries from the first visit and closing the case.
All these steps are possible if the superior/high authority can take responsibility to stop corruption.
For example, a Labor Officer visits a company where he wants to check various forms like muster roll, attendance register, etc., etc. Before the visit of this officer, the Labor Commission should be informed in advance by the Officer, and the visit should be done after permission from them. A specific report should be made by them and should be resubmitted after the visit with the raised queries. All settlements should be done in one single window where the company officer can pay the necessary amount, take a receipt, and close the case. This will help to stop corruption and increase Government revenue. Nowadays, the income goes to individuals instead of the Government account, ultimately resulting in a lower revenue burden on the general public in the form of taxes.
I hope that you will agree.
Regards,
Abdul.
