Dear Srini,
If the basic salary is Rs. 9600, then the PF calculation is as follows: Employee contribution: 12% on 9600. Employer's contribution: 13.61% on 6500 only because the pension contribution is restricted to Rs. 541 as mentioned by Samir. The other breakup is the same as Samir has given. Good work, Samir!
This employer's contribution has to be taken into calculating CTC of an employee. Feel free to contact me.

Hi,
I have a doubt. Can anyone clarify, please? If the basic salary is $7,800, then the calculation would be as follows:
- Employee Contribution is 12% = $936
- Employer contribution is 3.67% = $286
- Employer Pension Fund is 8.33% = $541
- Admin Charge = $86
- EDLI Charge = $39
- DLI Charge = $8
Thanks & Regards,
