Dear Readers,

Hi! I am a new member of this site. Recently, I have joined an IT company as an Employee Relations - Attendance specialist. How do I control absenteeism, late logins, early logouts, and related issues? Attendance is managed through software. How can I proceed to smoothly address these issues in the future? What queries or reports do I need to work with in the attendance software? What should the report formats be on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis? What kind of consolidated graphs are required for this?

I hope I have properly conveyed my query.

Hi Paul,

Greetings.

Control of absenteeism and tardiness requires constant effort on the part of the HR Department. If your company has an organizational manual, these disciplinary matters would be addressed. Typically, it states that employees with frequent absenteeism should be counseled to report to duty. If they are unable to improve, termination may be the best course of action.

Tardiness is detrimental to organizational discipline, like a slow poison. Employees who are frequently late should be counseled and even warned to arrive on time. Consider providing incentives to those who consistently report to work promptly.

Hello everyone,

It's really nice to see some people sharing information and documents in order to improve and implement a professional work environment. Nevertheless, I would like to ask about some spreadsheets like an XLS file worksheet in which I can use it to create a time and attendance dashboard with charts for analysis between all reports. I have all time and attendance sheets and reports such as working hours, OT, Premium OT, ABSENT, ANNUAL LEAVE, NOT REPORTING, and all other reports. My question here is: Is there any way to draw a chart or conduct any analysis to combine these reports into one standalone sheet that will help visualize attendance and draw a snapshot of weekly and monthly reports? The sheets I have include employee names, grades, positions, and all other attendance details.

To be frank, I have a keen interest in this website, and I am benefiting from the valuable information and documents shared by team members. I am eagerly awaiting any other valuable dashboards and time management analysis.

Cheers,
