I am a Life Insurance agent for the last few years. I am doing it part-time. I can vouch that to succeed in Life Insurance selling, training is a must. I attended a training course by TSMadaan in Delhi a few days back. Here are some important tips from that Life Insurance Training Workshop:

1. If one wants to succeed in life insurance selling, stop selling Life insurance... shocked? Even I was, and everyone in that workshop was. But TSMadaan continued by saying what to do then. He told us to start helping people. Contribute to the lives of people. Go to the temple, gurudwara, church, or mosque, visit the park, attend wedding ceremonies. Go all out. Serve and help people there. They will automatically start helping you in your profession. Do not become a salesman but make others purchase men.

I must say it is a $25,000 formula. I followed this and saw different and very encouraging results. He also shared many more secrets of becoming a successful salesman in Life Insurance.

I am so excited that I posted this one secret (why secret? Because TSMadaan himself excelled in Life Insurance selling in the eighties). I request you to visit his website and see his charisma.

I think Insurance Training is a multi-dimensional job. Training can be divided into 3 parts:

1) Domain Training
2) Sales Training
3) Behavioral Training

T.S. Madan (TS Madaan), a Motivational Speaker and Behavioral Trainer with 29 years of experience, as quoted by Sunra Bose, is a renowned figure in the field.

As a trainer in the Life Insurance Sector, your job is entirely different. You must know how to manage training, track the ROI, and handle your colleagues, superiors, and subordinates. It's a different world where your training skills are secondary, and your managerial skills are primary.
