Dear all According to my knowledge the PT for a salary of more than 10,000 is 200 rs. I got this salary sheet from this site which says the PT as 100 for salary of Rs. 13500. Plz Help Regards Neha

Neha, Aas afar as Maharashtra State is concerned, the slab is Rs. 200, for any amount above Rs. 10,000. But it is different from state to state. So please specify which state are you looking for!

The professional tax slab has been amended from 01-Apr-2009 to Rs. 10,000/-. The current slabs are as follows:
< Rs. 10,000/- NIL
Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 15,000/- 150/-
> Rs. 15,000/- 200/-
