Hi CiteHR members,

Greetings!

I received an email stating the following:

Dear Friend,

If you have experience in Administration and are looking for a salary of Rs. 5.8 Lakh per annum, here is the opportunity.

As per the company's requirements, we will provide training on SAP HR and later place you in companies like IBM and Wipro. SAP is NOT programming. It deals with issues related to Recruitment, Benefits, Time Management, Payroll, and more, particularly related to the Administration line.

Prerequisites to Join with SSN:

- Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 12 years of experience in the Administrative line.
- Candidate should be willing to relocate to either Chennai or Bangalore.
- Candidate should not be earning a salary of more than Rs. 5.8 Lakh per annum as of the current date (This is because the client is willing to pay only a salary of Rs. 5.8 on the starting date).

Process involved in this program:

Project-based training will be for a period of 8 weekends (Saturday & Sunday).

Saturday: 7 pm - 9 pm (Evening Hours)
Sunday: 9 am - 1 pm (Morning Hours)

All classes will be conducted at Loyola College, Nungambakkam.

How does SSN charge for consultation:

Once the candidate attends an interview and is shortlisted by the client, he/she has to pay one month of salary after receiving their first month's salary from the company (This is in particular because the company bears 75% of the total training fee for the candidate).

Hi,

Usually, it's marketing stunts. They will ask for a bundle of money to take up such a course. After finishing the course, there is no job assurance. They will tell you the project was on hold or that they will get back to us if they have any openings.

I have had a similar experience with another training institute that teaches hardware & networking as well as software courses.

Be careful before you invest money in these things.

Hi everyone,

For those interested in taking up SAP HR, please log into www.sap.com and submit a query. There are only a few SAP authorized training centers in the cities of India. Your query will be forwarded to the vendor in your city or the nearest city by SAP, and you can then engage in discussions with them.

Courses are available in two types: full-time and part-time. The fee structure varies between them. Ensure to inquire about the advantages and disadvantages of both course formats. Additionally, find out about the batches and support systems during training. Remember, while SAP certification may secure you an interview, it is your ability to persuade the recruiter that you are the best fit for the job.

All the best!

Dear Gaayu,

I have completed SAP and worked in a corporate training company in Bangalore. I request you not to believe in that.

Reasons:
1. A month ago, there was a raid on SAP institutes conducting the courses.
2. So, SAP won't entertain this.
3. The above-mentioned company stated that they cover only 75% of the fee.
4. The remaining 25% is more than 25k, to the best of my knowledge.

My suggestion for you is to visit the place and keep the above points in mind. Then we can decide.

Thank you.

If we think logically, we can believe it because they are not asking for any amount initially. They are asking only after you get an offer from a client. But you should be careful about who the client is. You should not resign from the present job and also inform the present organization because nowadays every company is looking for small mistakes to lay off employees.

SSN Company has a good strategy now because they are offering this opportunity at this time (many companies have laid off thousands of employees, many are jobless). Before making a decision, analyze and take a step. Be careful.

Hi,

There is no opening for SAP in any company. All over the world, they have already removed more than 15,000 employees working in software companies. Most of the companies are terminating employees due to a lack of projects.

So please be careful when you receive this type of email.

Hi Praveen,

I just wanted to request you that if you come across any other opportunities like this, please do inform me. I just saw your message; unfortunately, I am very late for this particular opening. But in the future, please do let us know. I hope to receive such posts from you in the future too. Keep up this good work.

Can anyone post a concrete reply? Believe it or not to believe... I'm sure somebody out there must have had an experience with SSN. Please do share, guys. Dear friends,

The above-referred subject course I had attended in the same venue was of no use at all. They will initially charge Rs. 5600 from us before entering the class. They will give all assurance and promise of a job; however, when you complete an illusive training, finally, they will give shocking information that the client wants to see our project in SAP MM.

Without having thorough knowledge in SAP MM, we will not be able to submit a project to their taste. Even if you satisfy, they will say they will contact by email. That's all. No positive thing will happen.

Last year, in the SAP MM module, 60 people attended, but nobody got the desired outcome. Similarly, in the finance module and sales module, a total of 40 to 50 people attended, and to my knowledge, nobody got any interview opportunities. We were not even given certificates.

It seems that every year they are following the same pattern. Please be careful. I have lost Rs. 5000 + 12.36% service tax. I will try to provide the mobile numbers of other peers who attended this useless course.

Thanks and regards,

SSN India SAP Course Training at Loyola College, Nungambakkam

Dear friends,

I attended the above-referred course at the same venue.

It was of no use at all.

They initially charge Rs. 5600 from us before entering the class.

They give assurances and promises of a job; however, upon completing the elusive training, they inform us that the client wants to see our project in SAP MM.

Without thorough knowledge in SAP MM, we cannot submit a project to their satisfaction. Even if you are satisfied, they mention that they will contact you via email.

That's all. No positive outcomes occur.

Last year, 60 people attended the SAP MM module - none were successful.

Similarly, in the Fin module, Sales module, around 40 to 50 people attended, and to my knowledge, none received an interview.

We were not even given certificates.

It seems they repeat this every year.

Please be cautious.

I have lost Rs. 5000 + 12.36% service tax.

I will try to provide the mobile number of other peers who attended this useless course.

Thank you for the information. I haven't joined yet, but I heard that these people conduct this event every year, and it's completely useless. How can this happen? They are conducting it at a reputed college campus, yet they are offering a fake course. Anyway, people need to be careful.

Dear Gayathri,

First of all, I want to know if there was anything else added in the email you received. I suggest you gather information for the following questions by replying to the email:

1. Inquire about the website of SSN and the phone number of the person who sent the email to you.
2. Request the list of individuals who joined through SSN and check if the list includes their Corporate email addresses, locations, and phone numbers.
3. Learn about the history and milestones of SSN.

If SSN can provide the information mentioned above, you can consider moving forward. Please feel free to call me or email me if you have any doubts.
